Due to the lockdown, at least 120 million people in India are unemployed

In April alone, 122 million people lost their jobs due to the ongoing lockdown to stop the spread of the epidemic. The figures were released by the Center for Monitoring the Indian Economy, a private research agency. Unemployment in India has risen to a record 27%. The new figures show that four times as many people are unemployed in India as in the United States. Goes
