If the NAB takes action against his leadership, he will secede from the government.

PTI MPA, PML-Q minister in war of words | The Express Tribune

PML-Q has made it clear that if the NAB takes action against its leadership, it will secede from the government.  "We are allies of PTI, if we have to beg for justice and go to court," said Tariq Bashir Cheema, a federal minister from PTI's ally PML-Q. If so, it is the moral duty of the Prime Minister to find out who is behind political engineering. Those who have committed corruption should be concerned, but we have no such concern.  Tariq Bashir Cheema said that a minister was saying that NAB would become a double tarzan after Eid. We will not allow you to throw the turbans of the nobles to balance, the Prime Minister will have to decide whether we are important to them or not.
When Tariq Bashir Cheema was asked if there was any action to balance, would he leave the government? To this question, the Federal Minister said that if an attempt was made to tarnish the honor of our leadership, we would give up one or 10 governments. It may be recalled that on Wednesday, the Chaudhry brothers had approached the Lahore High Court against the powers of the NAB chairman. He has taken a stand in the petition that NAB is a political engineering institute. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have taken a stand that the courts have also given verdicts on the wrong role of NAB and investigation.  He took the position that the Chairman NAB has ordered a re-investigation of the 19-year-old case against us. Even before this, the NAB had conducted a thorough investigation of assets in excess of 19 years ago but failed. The text of the petition states that The Chairman NAB has no authority to reopen the 19-year-old and closed inquiry, we have a political family and we have been the target of political revenge. The Chaudhry brothers have requested that the NAB's move to reopen the inquiry into assets in excess of 19 years old income be declared illegal.
