According to international media reports, Facebook bought the shares of Goofy for کروڑ 400 million and acquired the ownership of the company, after which the three major companies (Instagram, WhatsApp, Goofy) became the property of Facebook.
According to the report, Facebook started trying to buy shares of Goofy Company in 2015 and after a long period of five years, the company has succeeded in achieving its goal.
Facebook bought Goofy and made it part of the photo-sharing website Instagram, meaning users will now be able to share animated photos on the photo-sharing website in a few days.
"By combining Instagram and Goofy, we're making it easier for people to find the best stickers in Stories and Direct," Vishal Shah, Facebook's vice president, confirmed in a blog post.
The company has been supporting Goofy APIs on Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp for years. According to Facebook, Instagram alone accounts for 25% of Goofy's daily traffic, compared to another 25%.
