Eid UlFitr's Moon Controversy and Mufti Muneeb vs. Fawad

As the 29th day of Ramadan draws to a close, people across Pakistan are staring at television screens and waiting for Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, chairman of the Ruwit Halal Committee, to announce the Eid moon.  Yesterday, when the Mufti announced Eid today after 10 pm, users on social media were seen making interesting comments on the controversy that has been going on for years.
On the one hand, some users were seen referring to the past Eid when the next day's Eid was announced at the same time of the night, while other users were in a tug-of-war between Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry and Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman. Also did his part.  It may be recalled that Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry while addressing a press conference yesterday said that according to the lunar calendar prepared by his ministry, Eid-ul-Fitr would be celebrated on May 24 in Pakistan.
After the announcement, people anxiously awaited Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman's announcement to hear the final verdict, and a war of words broke out on the social networking site.
The soldiers of the team of followers of science were seen arguing that if technology is used in the process of moon sighting all over the world, then the same model should be adopted in Pakistan.
Religious people, on the other hand, seemed to insist that seeing the Eid moon was a sharia affair and that people should wait for Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman's announcement.
Many people on Twitter also seemed to be arguing that it would be wrong to give the impression that this competition is between religion and science.
However, in all these discussions, Mufti Muneeb's anger at Fawad Chaudhry during the press conference and his statement that "Fawad Chaudhry swears how many prayers he has offered" did not please the consumers at all.  Most of the users criticized Mufti Muneeb and said that Mufti Muneeb is someone who tests one's faith.  One user wrote, "If Fawad Chaudhry had asked the same question over a small dispute, it would have been possible to issue a fatwa."
On the other hand, like every year, this time too, unlike the government's Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, a non-governmental committee headed by Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai convened a meeting at the Qasim Ali Khan Mosque in Peshawar to observe the Eid moon. The meeting ended with the announcement of the disappearance of the moon.  Mufti Popalzai could not escape the rebuke of Fawad Chaudhry and he also said in his press conference that even if you want Mr. Popalzai, you will not be able to find the moon in Peshawar tomorrow.  Other Twitter users wrote that Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has been the head of the Ruwit Halal Committee since he lost consciousness.
One user even dared to ask the question whether there is no fixed term for holding this position.
In response, many people were seen tweeting that they religiously support Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and would consider his decision final.  Leading Pakistani singer Shehzad Rai recently shared a photo of himself when he was 20 years old, after which people started saying that his age did not affect his appearance.  One user wrote in a humorous way quoting Shehzad Rai that even Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has been describing his traditional Eid on TV for a long time but apparently his appearance and appearance have no effect with age. Had to  The joys of Eid are traditionally enhanced by delicious dishes and drinks, but for some consumers, the announcement of Mufti Muneeb has become mandatory on every Eid.  "Eid is not Eid without the announcement of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman," wrote a user named Suhrash.  Yesterday, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, chairman of the Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, demanded from Prime Minister Imran Khan to stop Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry from interfering in religion and said that he should be banned from being confined to the ministry.  Journalist Raza Rumi defended Fawad Chaudhry through his Twitter handle, saying, "The Minister for Science and Technology has proved that with courage, leadership, you can change outdated methods."  He also said that for the first time the Eid moon was observed using technology and this is a victory of science.  On the other hand, Fawad Chaudhry, in response to Mufti Muneeb's statement, said that he did not consider the sighting of the moon and the issuance of the lunar calendar as interference in religion.  A user named Asad Bajwa wrote a statement by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman regarding interference in religion and shared a humorous picture of the Ruwit Halal Committee's use of binoculars.   On social networking site Twitter, ordinary users also joined in the verbal battle between the two leaders, but at the same time, they seized the opportunity to call for a referendum and ordered that Fawad Chaudhry's supporters retweet the tweet. Retweet while those who agree with Mufti Muneeb's arguments like this tweet.  The referendum was held on a large scale and in the election process, Mufti Muneeb won on various Twitter accounts, while Fawad Chaudhry won on other accounts.  Where people were happy to celebrate an Eid, they considered it appropriate to wear the Eid moon as the credit for this victory.  However, according to some users, the Ruwit Halal Committee received a piece of evidence that weighed heavily on all the evidence. Users did not specify the direction of the testimony, but the tweets forced people to share laughing emojis.
