Many areas have been submerged in water, while in some areas lightning is on. Even on Tuesday morning, it has been raining profusely and for the people of Karachi, this rain seems to be a nuisance instead of a blessing. Many of the city's main roads have been submerged, leaving vehicles stranded. People who go to the offices are facing problems while in some offices the workers have been asked to work from home due to heavy rains. However, the overall situation in the city is looking bad at the moment. Valuables have been damaged due to infiltration of water from Nagan Chowrangi Nalla into the houses while the owners have to move their valuables to the upper floors. The same is true of PCCHS Block 6. Where after every rain water enters the houses and the valuables of the owners get damaged. Currently, highways and streets in many parts of the city are flooded. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. Landslide near Munawar Chowrangi in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of ​​Karachi has damaged 20 vehicles parked in the parking area. According to SSP East Sajid Amir Saduzai, a landslide occurred near Munawar Chowrangi. No casualties were reported. As a precautionary measure, nearby houses have been evacuated so that no casualties could be reported in case of another landslide. Rescue teams arrived at the scene. Currently, the city's main highway, University Road, overlooks the pond, with several feet of water accumulating on the road from Safura Chowrangi to Hassan Square, making it difficult for people to reach their destinations. The journey of minutes is being completed in hours, which is causing trouble to the citizens. At the same time, if you see a truck going on the road, it looks as if it is moving between the waves in the sea water. There is so much water in many areas that people have been seen using small boats. The outer wall of a residential apartment in Shadman Town had collapsed due to heavy rains in the past few days, which caused water to enter two flats and also damaged vehicles parked in the compound. In New Nazimabad and Azizabad Block Two, gutters and rain water have entered the houses. Due to heavy rains in Tariq Road, Bahadurabad and Nagan Chowrangi areas of the city, water has accumulated on the roads. Malir, Korangi, Landhi, Shah Faisal Colony, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Saadi Town, Liaquatabad, North Karachi and other areas have been flooded due to continuous rains. On the other hand, Korangi Causeway was closed for traffic due to river water. Besides, the road from Lasbela to Nazimabad is also closed for traffic. In many parts of Surjani Town, especially in Sector B, several feet of water has accumulated on the streets and roads and citizens are trapped in their homes. Many citizens have left the area and gone to live with their relatives in another part of the city. In addition, the situation in Yusuf Goth and Bismillah Town remains dire. The purpose of the street is to collect water and mud everywhere.

The city is also likely to receive torrential rains tomorrow while this series of light and heavy rains is likely to continue till Thursday morning. Due to which a situation like urban flooding may arise. Especially low lying areas like Old City Areas, Saddar etc. may be more affected by heavy rains. By the way, there are many small and big drains in the city, but due to illegal settlement on many drains, there is a problem of drainage. Garbage is also accumulated in these drains. If the rains continue till Thursday, floods could occur in many areas. The city administration and other key agencies have asked citizens to be careful when leaving their homes and to avoid touching electricity poles and other dangerous places.Feeders in many areas have been tripped since a few drops of rain fell in the city and they have been without power for many hours.
