Australia: Victims gradually decline over five weeks

Australia moving towards 'COVID-safe' society, but travel ban ...

Australia is one of the countries in the world that has succeeded in stopping the spread of the corona virus. Authorities in Australia say there has been a gradual decline in the spread of the virus over the past five weeks. The growth rate of new cases has been 0.5% which is certainly a welcome development. "This is an extraordinary national achievement and I want to thank the people of Australia," said Greg Hunt, Australia's health minister. Only six new cases were reported in the country today, bringing the total number of victims to 7,000, while a total of 101 people have been killed. Restaurants and schools have opened in the country, while most lockdown restrictions have been relaxed.
