A meeting was held in Lahore against the arrest of opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif by the NAB in which the top leadership of PML-N expressed displeasure over the low number of workers and demanded a report. According to details, the top leadership of PML-N has expressed displeasure over the low number of workers participating in the rally. According to media reports, the league leadership has said that Lahore is our city, why was there such a small number in the meeting? Expressing frustration over the low number of workers in the Lahore rally, the league leadership said that the reason for the non-participation of workers in the meeting should be stated. Media sources said that after the failure of the Lahore meeting, the top leadership has also started considering changes in the organizational structure of PML-N Lahore. And key PML-N officials are likely to be replaced. This was the first meeting of the PML-N after the opposition launched a movement against the government, which was attended by a very small number of workers. It may be mentioned that PML-N protested against the arrest of party president and opposition leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif on Temple Road adjacent to Mall Road in which party leaders and workers participated. In the form of caravans, they reached Mall Road from their constituencies. Workers chanted slogans in favor of party leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, party president Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and against the government and NAB. On this occasion, extraordinary security arrangements were made by the police to deal with any untoward incident during the PML-N protest.
