India's mistake which China took advantage of to occupy Ladakh

On this day in 1962, India learnt a harsh lesson from China

China took advantage of India's weakness to occupy Ladakh. According to Jang newspaper, China took advantage of India's weak intelligence in the Gulwan Valley of Ladakh. China started military exercises near the Indian border and later the army in Ladakh. India needed close surveillance of Chinese forces on this occasion in which it failed.

Indian agencies had reported suspicious movements in Ladakh in February and March, but those reports were not of an emergency nature, which Chinese forces took advantage of to cut off Indian border patrol posts and major highways connecting mountainous areas. Was blocked until the Indian forces received accurate intelligence information that the Chinese forces had shown work. It may be recalled that India was defeated by China in the Ladakh region. After this defeat, India was also trying to divert the attention of its citizens from Ladakh to Pakistan, but it is still failing miserably. Narendra Modi also visited Ladakh but it too proved to be a failure for India as Modi could not even openly mention China in it, so we have to face severe criticism of Narendra Modi after all these incidents. Indian media had reported that the Chinese army retreated 2 km from the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh.

On the other hand, US World News and World Report Magazine has claimed that China is keeping an eye on Ladakh because China has the best way to reach Pakistan under C-Pack. China considers the presence of Indian troops in Ladakh a threat to C-Pak. Therefore, China has plans to strengthen its control over the Ladakh mountain range. Thus, it can be assumed that China's control over Ladakh is part of the C-Pak project. ۔
