Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly Shaheen Raza died after falling victim to Code 19.
Shaheen Raza, who became a member of the Punjab Assembly from Gujranwala on a reserved seat, was shifted from Gujranwala to Lahore this week where she was undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Shaheen Raza and extended heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his family.
Shaheen Raza is the first politician in Pakistan to die due to code 19.
Dost Mazari, Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, is also suffering from code 19 and is in quarantine.
