Notification issued for opening of shopping malls and markets in Balochistan

The Balochistan Home Department has issued permission to open all shopping malls, markets, shops, warehouses, auto repair shops and other shops across the province.

According to the notification, all shops will be allowed to open all week from 3 am to 5 pm, however, legal action will be taken against those who continue their business activities after 5 pm.

It may be recalled that the government had earlier announced extension of lockdown till May 19 in view of increasing cases of corona in Balochistan province but now a new order has been issued amending it. According to the notification, ovens, dairy shops, medical stores, blood banks and tailor shops can be open 24 hours a day. All restaurants and hotels will be allowed to remain open 24 hours a day for home delivery and takeaway service only. In shops and malls, workers and customers are required to wash their hands, provide sanitizers and use masks and gloves.

According to the notification, no customer will be allowed to enter the shop or shopping mall without a mask while a distance of one meter will have to be maintained between the customer and the worker. No more than four people will enter a store at a time.
