Court summons Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari

The accountability court has summoned Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari in the Toshakhana reference. Former Prime Minister Yousuf Gilani will also appear in the court on May 29 in the Toshakhana reference.
According to details, significant progress has been made in the fake accounts case and during the hearing on Tosha Khana reference, NAB informed the court that Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif had illegally obtained vehicles from Yousuf Raza Gilani. 15% paid through fake accounts. According to NAB, Asif Zardari as President also received vehicles from Libya and UAE as gifts. Asif Zardari used the vehicles himself instead of depositing them in the treasury.
The court was told by the NAB about Nawaz Sharif that he was not in any government post in 2008, yet Nawaz Sharif was provided a car from the treasury without any request. Abdul Ghani Majeed paid for the vehicles through fake accounts, Anwar Majeed made more than 2 crore illegal transactions, Anwar Majeed transferred Rs 9.2 million to Asif Zardari's accounts, the accused committed corruption under the NAB Ordinance.
