In the last 24 hours, 990 more cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan, bringing the number to 16,817, while 4,315 people have returned home after recovering.
According to the details provided by the government, 7,971 tests were carried out across the country in the last 24 hours, out of which 990 people tested positive for the virus, bringing the number to 16,817, while 24 people died. The death toll has risen to 385.
The highest number of H5N1 virus cases has been reported in Punjab so far where the number has reached 6340 while 6,053 in Sindh, 2,627 in KPK, 1,049 in Balochistan, 339 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 66 in Azad Kashmir. And in Islamabad, the virus has been confirmed in 343 people
The highest number of deaths due to corona virus has been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where the number has risen to 146 while 106 in Punjab, 112 in Sindh, 14 in Balochistan, 3 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 4 in Islamabad have died due to the virus.
The highest number of patients recovered in Punjab was 1921 while 1222 in Sindh, 654 in KPK, 248 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 183 in Balochistan, 43 in Azad Kashmir and 44 in Islamabad. Have returned home.
