Putin and Muhammad bin Salman exchange harsh words, foreign newspaper claims

A foreign news agency claims that the two leaders exchanged harsh words during a telephone conversation last month between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
It was only after this bitter rhetoric that oil markets and prices around the world began to deteriorate, and this situation led to oil prices falling below zero last week.
According to the report, Saudi officials with knowledge of the catastrophic phone call said it had jeopardized a peaceful environment and a major arms deal between the two countries that had been going on for months.
The phone call came before the OPEC Plus meeting on March 6. At the meeting, oil-producing countries failed to reach a consensus on regulating prices as global oil consumption fell due to the Corona virus epidemic.
