Floods have also been reported in the Ravi and Kabul rivers. Flood warnings have been issued in Jhelum and Talagang. The Ravi, Kabul and Chenab rivers are expected to flood in the next 48 hours. In all these circumstances, NDMA has alerted all the concerned agencies. Stormy monsoon rains have been continuing in Sindh for the past few days, while now Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be hit by torrential monsoon rains. Regarding Karachi, the Meteorological Department said that the existing rain system in Karachi is weakening. It has been reported that most of the low pressure air in Lower Sindh and Karachi has gone to sea which is weakening the rain system in Karachi.
