The Egyptian president also called the agreement historic. It should be noted that the UAE is the first Gulf Islamic country to recognize Israel and decide to restore diplomatic relations. Under the US-backed agreement, delegation-level talks between Israel and the United Arab Emirates will begin soon. During these talks, agreements will be reached between the two countries in various fields. Direct flights between the UAE and Israel will also be launched. Under the agreement, Israel will now abandon plans to occupy the West Bank and Jordan Valley.
