Sindh government decides to open public transport and small markets

According to Sindh government sources, the Sindh government presented its proposals at a meeting of the National Command and Control Center chaired by Federal Minister Asad Umar. In the meeting, Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid demanded restoration of train service. The Sindh government suggested that instead of reviving full-fledged business activities, it should be phased out and shops should be allowed to open in rural areas. In the first phase, the Sindh government has proposed to open small markets and not to open shopping malls in major cities for the time being, while the Sindh government has also proposed to set up SOPs for Eid-ul-Fitr. On the other hand, the Sindh government has decided to restore the inner city transport service, but an SOP will be formed for the restoration of intra-city transport. After making recommendations to the federation, the Sindh chief minister convened a meeting of ministers. The meeting will be held at the Chief Minister's House shortly after this.
