Pakistan saw a record increase in the number of new victims identified on May 12, after a slight decrease in the number of new victims identified in 48 hours, when 2,255 new code 19 patients emerged across the country. Earlier, on May 9, the highest number of 1991 patients was reported, but then on May 10 and 11, their numbers declined slightly.
