The spread of the corona virus in Pakistan is not slowing down. The death toll and the number of patients are increasing day by day. According to statistics, the number of patients with the epidemic has reached 20186 while the death toll has reached 462.
So far, 203,025 people have been tested across the country. During the last 24 hours, 8716 people were tested, out of which 981 people tested positive and 17 deaths were reported.
According to official figures, 5,114 people have returned home after recovering from corona. The situation in Punjab province is the most dangerous where the number of patients is more than other provinces.
At present, 7494 people in Punjab are suffering from this contagious disease and are undergoing treatment in hospitals. In other provinces, there are 7465 confirmed cases in Sindh, 393 in Islamabad, 1172 in Balochistan, 3129 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 67 in Azad Kashmir and 364 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In terms of deaths, the situation is tense in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 180 people have lost their lives. 130 deaths have been reported in Sindh, 121 in Punjab, four in Islamabad, 19 in Balochistan and three in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Among those who have recovered from this scourge are 44 from Azad Kashmir, 183 from Balochistan, 260 from Gigat Baltistan, 55 from Islamabad, 811 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2206 from Punjab and 1555 from Sindh.
