Corona virus: silence orders over killings in Iran

Iran's vice president and two ministers stricken by coronavirus ...

Iran's Central Registrar's Office has confirmed that it has been ordered not to publish the number of deaths in Iran over the past three months.
Since then, there have been further suspicions about official Corona virus figures in Iran.  According to official figures, the number of deaths in Iran since the first case came to light on February 19 is 6,418, while the confirmed number of coronavirus victims is more than 100,000.   The actual number of victims in Iran is thought to be much higher than reported.  According to a parliamentary report published last month, the number of victims and deaths is estimated to be at least 10 times higher.
President Rouhani's government says better administrative measures have helped keep the epidemic at bay and the death toll has not risen.
