Arrests of Human Rights Activists Criticize China

چین

Human Rights Watch has demanded the release of two Chinese workers arrested for creating a website. The website stored information about the coronavirus that the government was censoring everywhere.
Chen Mei and Kai Wei created a website called Terminus 2049 where users can share officially censored reports and social media posts. According to Reuters, Kai was arrested along with his girlfriend.
"The lack of free access to code 19 information in China has led to a global pandemic," said Yaqiu Wang, a researcher at Human Rights Watch. Governments around the world should put pressure on Beijing to immediately release workers and journalists who have been wrongfully detained.
